WHAT: This is a small, college-town jam in rural Maine, that has been going strong for 6 years. Lots of contact improv happening at the jam, but not limited to the contact form. Small group (always 4-6 people present, sometimes 8-12)--solid and committed--ongoing. If traveling through Central Maine, worth checking out. Once every few months, studio will be closed for the week, due to organizers having other commitments, so calling ahead is recommended before traveling. All ages, abilities. Studio has stereo system and there is a weekly balance of silence/music/improvisational sound. Vocal work, instruments, favorite CD's and tapes, and different approaches to movement are welcome.
