Benvenuti nel cuore del Sud Italia e dei suoi suggestivi borghi!

Arti Al Borgo, ? un festival multidisciplinare e itinerante che si svolge nei borghi del Salento in quattro diversi appuntamenti.
Per questa prima edizione del festival abbiamo scelto alcuni tra i pi? affascinanti borghi: Specchia, Otranto, Lecce e Ostuni.

Volevamo condividere la bellezza dei borghi, con le loro mura ricche di storie da raccontare, castelli straordinari, stradine che si snodano sotto archi monumentali e piazze spiazzanti. E portare questa esperienza suggestiva nei movimenti della nostra danza e nelle frequenze della musica. In Arti Al Borgo desideriamo convogliare il piacere di incontrarsi, di imparare, portare la propria arte e fare una nuova esperienza di scoperta e di condivisione di questo spazio nuovo.
Le attivit? verranno svolte, a seconda delle condizioni climatiche e atmosferiche, all?interno e/o all'aperto.

Primo appuntamento del festival - Arti Al Borgo - Contact Improvisation Intensive con Mirva M?kinen
Dal 26/06 -> 30/06 Specchia

Questo workshop ? un intensive sulla contact improvisation aperto a tutti: principianti, danzatori, coreografi e performer di ogni genere. Oltre 20 ore di insegnamento , jam ogni sera e musica dal vivo.
In Arti Al Borgo vorremmo creare con un gruppo relativamente piccolo che non superi le 25 persone in modo da rendere l?esperienza meno dispersiva e pi? profonda, familiare.

Il formato del festival include :
- workshops e jam di contact in studio
- sessioni all?aperto e visite ai tipici borghi del Salento
- squisito cibo locale a km 0 e con ?ristorante diverso? annesso (opzionale);
- sistemazione in appartamento condiviso con i partecipanti (opzionale);
- serata finale nel castello del borgo e degustazione di vini di prima scelta propri del Salento.

Mirva M?kinen, che ci accompagner? in questo primo incontro ? una danzatrice e coreografa qualificata oltre ad essere un insegnante di CI riconosciuta a livello internazionale.
Al momento sta ultimando la sua ricerca di dottorato sulla ?Somaesthetics of Contact Improvisation? all? Universit? delle Arti di Helsinki

Welcome in the heart of Southern Italy and its evocative boroughs!

?ARTI AL BORGO? (literally ARTS AT THE BOROUGH) is a multidisciplinary and traveling festival that takes place in the different boroughs of Salento in the South of Italy.

In the 1st edition of the festival we have chosen the four most fascinating boroughs of Salento: Specchia, Otranto, Lecce and Ostuni.

With a desire to share the beauty of these areas; their incredible castles, monumental arches, bustling squares and small winding streets filled with ancient stories we bring this suggestive atmosphere in to our art and invite them to shape our dance movements and our music frequencies. In Arti Al Borgo we fuse the pleasure of meeting and learning with creating, and we facilitate a new experience in the discovery and sharing of these magical places.

Arti Al Borgo ? Contact Improvisation Intensive Workshop with Mirva M?kinen - From June 26th to 30th, in Specchia

An intensive workshop on contact improvisation which is open to everyone: Beginners, dancers, choreographs and performers of any kind.
Over the course of 5 days there will be more ore than 20hrs of teachings as well as jam every day with live music.
The workshop is limited to 25 people, as a smaller group enables a deeper, warmer and less dispersive experience.

The festival includes:
- workshops and jam indoor, outdoor and trasport to the boroughs
- Delicious local food and fine local wines from Salento
- Shared accomodation with other participants
- Final performance in the Castle of Specchia

Mirva M?kinen is a professional dancer and Choreographer from Helsinki Finland, and an internationally recognized Contact Improvisation teacher. She is currrently completing a PhD study at the university of Arts (Helsinki) entitled ?Somaesthetics of Contact Improvisation'
